After a Pink Pather-esque fumbling start, and mass speculation by those watching, Microsoft will finally -FINALLY- be revealing information about their next console on May 21st.
Is it called the Xbox 720? The NextBox? Durango? Futuristic Pizza Delivery Service ED-209? We still don't know, but you can find out by watching the conference yourself on Xbox.com, Xbox Live and/or Spike.tv.
Major Nelson took to his blog to describe the event as when they would “mark the beginning of a new generation of games, TV and entertainment...On that day, we’ll share our vision for Xbox, and give you a real taste of the future. Then, 19-days later at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, we’ll continue the conversation and showcase our full lineup of blockbuster games.”
Well at least he put the word “games” at the beginning. That could be a good sign.

A mere 3 weeks before E3. Something tells me we are going to see a repeat with a lack of crossover in consoles. As in, how many are going to support the 360 after the next Xbox is released? Will the 360 be dead just like the original Xbox when it was released?

Looking forward at what they're going to say and at the same time not really.

Strange how Sony's conference was on the 20th and Microsoft's is on the 21st. I guess it's just a coincidence but it's still kinda weird to think about. Oh well, I'm still looking forward to watching it, inb4 I have class that day for my summer semester.

More important, it's 6pm in UK. When choosing between Japanese and European market, for MS that's not even a question.

There's a rumor spreadin' 'round that it'll be called "Xbox Infinity." Infinite things to do, but it also plays games!

Well.....to me it looks like all eyes are falling on E3. And I did not rhyme that on purpose.
