PAX Prime 2013: Betrayer Developer Walkthrough

The folks at Blackpowder Games, made up of some of the minds behind the FEAR series, were kind enough to give us a walkthrough of their PAX 2013 build of Betrayer, a monochromatic survival game set in early 17th century colonial Virginia.

Thanks for the coverage was really curious to see what the gameplay was like for this game, while I wasn't very impressed with what I saw I am sure after more development time the final product will be worth a purchase.

Based on the original trailer, I didn't think I'd like this, but I played the alpha at a friend's a while ago and it's quite interesting. Found it quite refreshing to actually have to figure out where to go, what to do, and where you are on the map. Love the Souls-ish aspect with your loot, too. Can't wait to play the full game.
