It's official. State of Decay, the zombie apocalypse simulator in development at Undead Labs, has passed final Microsoft certification and will be hitting XBLA on Wednesday June 5th.
We've been really about this title since we first set eyes upon it at PAX Prime last year, and that anticipation only grew after we were able to spend the entire day playing the game over at Undead Labs in Seattle a number of months ago. Now, it looks like everyone else will be able to get their hands on it as well.
For the unitiated, State of Decay is not just a zombie game. It's more of an apocalypse-survival simulator with heavy emphasis on base building, and resource management. Like a Sims of the apocalypse. You can check out our full hands-on preview here.
State of Decay will be available for 1600 Microsoft Points.

Just finished watching "The Walking Dead" season 3, so I'm pretty hyped for this.

Wasn't there supposed to be a PC version that was released as well?
