Weekend! It's been a hell of a week for gaming news and that was sprinkled with a few interesting announcements (Ride to Hell anyone?) but now it's the weekend and time to catch up on what we might have missed playing during the week!
Here's what we've been playing this weekend. What about you?
|
Nick Henderson: I'm finishing up Bioshock Infinite finally. God this game is terrible. Just kidding, it's pretty good! Once that's done, ill get started on Luigis Mansion Dark Moon and maybe finish off Call of Juarez and then cry myself to sleep with some Red Dead Redemption. |
|
Joseph Christ: Guess what I haven't finished yet? Assassin's Creed III, so I miiight just try to get that off my list this weekend. All I want to do are ship battles though. :/ |
|
Nolan Hedstrom: I'm at the very end of BioShock Infinite so I'll be trying to finish it up and see if they ending is all it's hyped up to be. We are having a community night on Saturday so I'll be playing Primal Carnage for that. Come play with us! |
|
Brad Simons: I'm playing nothing. What should I play? Here's what I kind of want ti play: Thief 2, NOLF, Undying, Tomb Raider 2, Vampire the Masquerade, and System Shock 2. Oh and that Indiana Jones game. Also need am RPG for Grinding with Brad. Battle Block Theater is awesome btw. Where's Carlos? |
|
Chris Davis: Like the other people on this list I too am knee deep in Bioshock Infinite. This however is my second run through the game, this time on the game’s infamous 1999 mode. In addition, I will be spending some time playing the third Army of TWO game and will most likely be joining Nolan for our community play night where we will be playing Primal Carnage. |

I think I'll try and squeeze some money together for Luigi's Mansion on 3DS. Failing that, probably play nothing sadly.

Finished up my Yakuza 4 playthrough tonight, only took me 70 hrs, lol. Been visiting my folks for easter and finally going home tomorrow so I can start up Bioshock Infinite. I've managed to avoid spoilers so looking forward to it :)

Sleepin' Dawgs! I'm not enjoying it as much as I would like to. The game is enjoyable, but the game's content comes from the collectibles. Which I'm not a big fan of so far.

I picked up Red Orchestra 2 since it was on sale on steam. Its also 1 dollar on the humble bundle website btw. I've played 7 hours so far and its great fun.

Probably Starcraft II, finished Wings of Liberty long ago but i'm replaying it to go to HotS after; also, I just got The Secret World, looks like a really interesting MMO, I don't like MMOs, but I'll try my hardest to like this one (as I said, it looks really intereting to me). And I might try Bioshock Infinite's 1999 mode, gonna be a bitch, though.

Mostly, I've been booting stuff up on emulators to make screenshots/gifs to post on Tumblr.

Hopefully Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. In the mean time I'll be playing the Telltale The Walking Dead game and reading the first compendium of it. :)

After seeing a picture of Perry Saturn, I popped in my copy of WWF Smackdown 2. You're welcome.

Metro 2033 was $5 on steam last week and I picked it up hoping to beat it before Last Light comes out. I had such a dull experience playing it on xbox a year or so ago but can't believe how immersed I am into on PC. I'll be playing that this month along with XCOM, which I never got to finish last year, figure I restart and really get into it this time. I also downloaded for free.. Path of Exile which I haven't played much of, but so far it's everything I wish I would have gotten from Diablo 3. With all that being played in this month I don't think i will be able to play Dragon's Dogma and it's expansion Dark Arisen, I don't mind putting it off til next month. Although I think it's BS that Capcom won't release a $15 DLC for this, I'm glad because I was a fool and skipped Dragon's Dogma last year so now I can pay $40 for this retail game and not feel cheated.
