Kill Zombies As Ray Liotta in Call of Duty's 'Mob of the Dead'

Each new Call of Duty brings us a new iteration of the Zombie Mode with new characters and areas. This time, Mob of the Dead -yes, as in mobsters- is the new zombie extravaganza being made available in Uprising, the second DLC Map Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

You'll be playing as one of four mobsters, including a starring role by Ray Liotta, as you try and escape a zombie-infested -and apparently an exceptionally dangerous- Alcatraz to live out our money-laundering days in the arms of a speakeasy starlet elsewhere.

The press release reads:

Four mobsters find themselves trapped on the notorious Alcatraz Island. They soon find out though that they are not alone in the prison cell blocks. Chazz Palminteri, Joe Pantoliano, Michael Madsen, and Ray Liotta star in one of the most frightening Zombies experiences yet.

I say exceptionally dangerous because it looks like Treyarch has gone through great lengths to increase the ways you can utilize the environment in both offensive and defensive ways. Spinning blades, acidic showers, and mechanical gates all seem to come into play as you fight your way through zombie coppers and decaying snitches in your quest for pasta-infused freedom.

Uprising will be released on April 16th on XBLA with other platforms yet to be announced.
