At GDC a short time ago Hideo Kojima released the newest trailer and information for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. There was a lot to talk about in this conference, not the least of which was the new innovations being used in the new FOX Engine...the life and blood of MGS V.
The other big reveal was that Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain are actually the same game, Metal Gear Solid V. Something that none of us saw coming, but does clear up the confusion that having both titles created at the beginning.
The trailer itself is stunning, and pure Metal Gear through and through. It's refined and wacky, contemporary yet pays homage to earlier Metal Gear titles. I'm seeing bits of MGS 2 and 3 throughout and, if I'm not mistaken, caught a glimpse of Psycho Mantis as well. Get ready to disconnect controller 1.

Actually, a lot of us saw that coming. There was quite a few discussions too. I think we even have a thread in the forums.

Suuuper super excited for this. Also relieved that it looks like I'll be able to play it, as I had previously assumed it'd be PS4 only. Interesting that everything was running on PC as well, but I'm not about to hold my breath hoping for any PC release.
