Terry Funk is the funkiest funker this side of Funk Town. You know what else is that funky? Mother Funken Vidja Gamez! It's been a big few weeks for new releases with Colonial Marines and Metal Gear Rising hitting the shelves. Crysis 3 also happened and we'll be having that review for you in the next few days.
In the meantime, here's what we'll be playing this weekend. What about you? Sound off in the comments below.
Nick Henderson: This weekend is about new releases for me. I'll be cranking through Crysis 3 pretty quickly and then hopping straight into Metal Gear Rising. I started Crysis 3 on hard so that may lengthen the experience a little. I've been itching to pick up a handheld again but i'm not sure what to play on it. Fire Emblem will have to wait until I can find a copy.
Nolan Hedstrom: I just finished Ni No Kuni the other day so I might play around in the post game stuff. There are some new Errands and Hunts with more difficult enemies. I finally got Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in from GF so I'll be hacking and slashing my way through some cyborgs on the Hard difficulty!
Bob Webb: I've been working on Dishonored and I hope to throw more time at it this weekend with possibility of beating it. Once that's out the way I'll have to pick up FarCry 3 yet again or perhaps work more on The Mark of the Ninja or other games from my big ass backlog. I should also be getting Dead Space 3 this coming week so I'm looking forward to putting time into that considering I *just* beat Dead Space 2.
Chris Davis: I’ve definitely got a full plate on my hands. This weekend I need to dive into Metal Gear Rising (once I get it back from Brad) but after having completed the single player for Crysis 3 as well as dabbling in the multiplayer I find myself being drawn into it once again. The multi is just as fun as I remember it being in Crysis 2 and… well, if I said anymore you wouldn’t read my review now would you? That’s coming hopefully Sunday so stay tuned!
Joseph Christ: I might try and finally finish Dead Space 3 this weekend since I had to put it down in order to get reviews done these past few weeks. I've also not touched Planetside 2 due to the same reason, so I might pop in there tonight to see what changes have been made recently. Other than that I'm sitting here looking at my PS1 and wondering if I should spend some times with the games of yesteryear since the announcement of the PS4 has made me all sorts of nostalgic. |
Jeffrey Demelo: This weekend I'll continue cutting up the world of MG: Revengeance in VR Missions. When I need a break from the ninja-action I'll continue my slow-stroll through Crysis 3 and Ni No Kuni. Puzzle Quest 2 has been a recent addiction for me, on the iOS front, so when I'm on my toes I'll probably play that a bit. |
Carlos The Stout: I'm going to 100% Colonial Marines. It is my white whale. It is no longer important if I go down with it. |
Brad Simons: Well, since I finished Metal Gear Rising already, I will probably focus on playing more old Tomb Raider until the release of the new game. That and the Subscriber of the Month game, Crash 3. Maybe I'll try to go back into Ni No Kuni also. When I'm not broadcasting, I'll be playing lots and lots of Fire Emblem of course. |

I finally finished a long week of schoolworks. I'd like to spend some time in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, but I've been stuck on a boss for a few days so if I can't get past that I'll just work on finishing The Witcher instead.

Terry Funk was just a crazy guy. Not to mention when he was Chainsaw Charlie. Him and Mick Foley (Mankind, Cactus Jack, and Dude Love) had some great matches back in the day.
I just started Metal Gear Rising last night. So far it's a blast. Kind of wanna play more Dead Space 3 since I missed one optional mission back when me and a friend didn't know what we were doing. Nothing like stomping every body you find so you don't get jumped by a new necromorph.
Kind of wanna play a pc game, but I don't know what.

I just wrapped up Metal Gear Rising yesterday. Great experience, probably my favorite of the year so far. So now I'm going to focus on other 2013 releases... Sly 4 and Fire Emblem mostly, and a friend might bring over Crysis 3, so might get a chance to go through that.

I had to restart Gragon's Dogma after killing the main dragon because by accident had romance with NPC that sells gear and now we're having bromance and he lives in my hut and refuses to go back to work. I couldn't enchant or buy items without runnign back all the way to my starting village, pain. So I'm playing dragon's Dogma and some Bioshock,

I'm working on finishing Metal Gear Solid 4 (never had a ps3 before so I'm way behind), so I can get into Metal Gear Rising without missing any plot details/references. Might also play some Crysis 3, too. And someday I might actually finish Witcher 2.

I am on the very same quest Nolan has been - get through Metal Gear Solid series, but (and I take all the shame) for the VERY FIRST time! Yes, for the very first time I get to see the beauty and charm of the very best in my beloved stealh genre. Also I finally bought my copy of Nier and there is still my lasting go to love - Dark souls!
