Assassin's Creed: Black Flag World Map Leaked

Remember that Assassin's Creed: Black Flag rumor we posted about yesterday? The story went that a redditor saw the name “Assassin's Creed: Black Flag” on the powerpoint presentation being worked on by a PR representative aboard a plane. Next, a poster was sent to Kotaku with the game name and an art-drawn picture showing what looked like the protagonist of ACIII standing on a ship deck surrounded by all sorts of Piratey figures.

Well it looks like another shoe has dropped when a picture showing the BACK of that poster was also sent to Kotaku showing what seems to be the world map of the game.

As could be expected from a Swash-bucklin' adventure, it seems to take place on a Caribbean Island in 1715 with lots of smaller islands to explore and enough sea to scratch any of your pirate itches. I posted yesterday that there was a high probability that Black Flag was essentially a comic rendition, or continuation, of the ACIII story but now I'm starting to think that things might be going the other way. Maybe this is a real game. If it is...I'm all for more pirate ship action in my Assassin's Creed game but isn't it time we removed the “Assassin's” from the title? There hasn't been any real assassinating for awhile. How about BLACK CREED: THE SCI-FI PIRATE ADVENTURE. Or PIRATE CREED: YOU CAN'T GO THAT WAY BECAUSE ANIMUS OR SOMETHING.

Either way, Henry Rollins better be doing some voice acting for this.
