If this report holds true, it sounds like an HD Hitman Trilogy, including Hitman 2: Silent Assassin,Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money is on the way.

The timing of it couldn't be better.

After the recent release of Hitman: Absolution, it's probably good that gamers will have a chance to see what the old Hitman games are like. And now that the technological barrier of entry will be removed there really isn't any reason for them not to. There's no word on how much additional polish these games will be getting besides the graphical upgrade, but it's probably true that the older Hitman games could use some help in the control department.

Either way, people have been screaming for a HD release of Blood Money...now we're probably getting it.

That's nice and all, but other than a possible graphic upgrade, putting them on PS3 and Xbox 360, and whatnot, I honestly don't see the point in releasing another "Hitman" trilogy set (There was already a box set that included "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin", "Hitman: Contracts", and "Hitman: Blood Money" released a few years ago for the PS2 and PC). Not only that, but it doesn't even have "Hitman: Codename 47". I think they should have the first one with it so non-PC players could play the game that started it all.

I hope codename 47 is redone with a save system that was available in later iterations.
