Though the PS3 version of Silent Hill HD has been patched since release to improve things like frame rate, fog density, and missing music that haunted the game, Konami has announced today that the Xbox 360 version will not be patched, leaving those users simply out of luck.
SORRY!
"Plans for an Xbox 360 title update have been cancelled due to technical issues and resources...Understanding the issues some users are experiencing, Konami issued a title update forSilent Hill HD Collection (PS3), which fixed frame rate issues as well as audio-synching and other reported issues. KONAMI apologizes to any players who are continuing to experience these issues on the Xbox 360 sku. Silent Hill HD Collection is available at retail stores nationwide."
So if you want a finished version of Silent Hill HD, Konami has a very simple and effective solution that surely makes them seem like a company on top of its quality control...buy the PS3 version.

Konami's way of saying "Fuck you!" to x360 owners.
If they really cared, they would pull the game off the shelves, since it is essentially unplayable.

Blame Microsoft. Developers need to PAY to bring ouit patches on the 360, unlike the PS3.
