Anomaly Warzone Earth is Now On XBLA

Anomaly Warzone Earth, a critically acclaimed iOS game developed by 11 bit studios, is now available on XBLA.

Not playing a lot of iOS games this one bypassed me for a long time, I lived in ignorance while it received raving reviews from pretty much everyone and amassed the best Metacritic rating for an iOS game ever. Its concept is deceptively simple. You play as a commander sent to investigate an alien invasion. You control a number of units as they move along a path you set, and breach alien defenses. Think 'reverse tower defense'. You'll also have a number of abilities at your disposal such as  decoys or smoke-screens to better increase your chances.

The visuals are also really impressive, with a Tron-esque overlay keeping things in order as you traverse dismantled city-scapes. Wonderful glowing blue hues over red rubble make for fairly impressive eye-candy. And yes, it makes me want candy.
