On April 17th, CD Projekt will be bringing The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition to consoles with much fanfare as to the new inclusions console gamers will be getting with the game.
"What kind of enhancements" you say? New fighting controls, and more cinematics are just some of the new additions we'll be able to enjoy and in the following dev diary CD Projekt focus on the latter of those two, showing off the new intro and the new loading movies they have created.
It's being said that The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition is the best Witcher 2 edition yet. Having never played a Witcher game before, I simply can't wait to get my feral paws on it.

These changes seem to really be positive as far as bringing in more people that have no idea about the lore behind the series - they don't know who the kings or nations at war are, nor the reasons without doing a lot of reading. These new cutscenes and recaps ought to really help that. Hope you all get a lot of enjoyment out of the game - the developer deserves incredible praise for their work and efforts to meet the quality standards expected by fans for story telling and content. I`ve played through the game several times at release and I`m itching to try it again in April now with the new content, the dark mode (which was released just after I stopped playing), and all of the other new free content. It`s a hell of a story and I can`t wait for The Witcher 3 in around 2014.

Can't wait to see how this game is. I'll be pre-ordering it and picking it up day one, so I hope these 'enhancements' compliment the original content. But these are professionals... I'm sure they'll be just fine.
