Dishonored Screens Are Disturbing In All The Right Ways

Happy Monday! Bethesda has done us a solid this morning by releasing a whole bunch of Dishonored screens and concept art. I've really been enthralled by what I've seen of this game so far and these pictures are no exception.

You'll notice that the game has a slightly City 17 (Half Life) and Rapture look to it, all seasoned within the air of Grimm's Fairy Tales.  This inventive amalgamation gives the gameworld a particularly sparse and desperate affectation that I haven't really experienced in a game thus far...at least not to this degree. Rapture got close, but was a little too fantastical at times to truly capture it fully.

It should be noted that Dishonored is being developed by great people. Being published by Bethesda, its co-creative director  is  Harvey Smith (lead designer of Deus Ex), and the world is being crafted by Viktor Antonov (who was responsible for creating City 17, hence the resemblance).
