A a fresh batch of Bloodrayne Betryal screens have been released today, showing off some of the hacking and slashing action one would expect from our long-toothed heroine, all in 2D glory.
The game looks to be shaping up quite well, and for those who are looking for a good fighting romp against a multitude of enemies and giant-sized bosses, this will certainly be your cup of tea.
Bloodrayne Betrayal will be released later this year as a downloadable title for XBLA and PSN. You can also watch the full trailer below.

I'm not excited, but I like the way it looks. Wasn't this game playable at E3? If so I would like to go back and hear the impressions about Bloodrayne.

I'm really liking the art style for this game. I'll at least be downloading the trial to see how it handles.

I guess I can't complain. At least Majesco are finally doing something with the franchise. But I can't help feeling they won't do anything great with it. Handled correctly she could be up there with Ninja Gaiden and Bayonetta. Or at least be a bundle of gory fun like Xmen Origins Wolverine. But then again none of their games are up there. Fingers crossed they sell BloodRayne to someone else. This is just painful.
