Well you can just go ahead and chalk this one up to another reason you don't need to buy a Nintendo 3DS. Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions will be released for iPhone this Thursday, with an iPad version coming sometime in the fall. I know...pretty nifty, and just when I thought I would only be using my iPhone to obsesses over web traffic with my Google Analytics app.
Pricing is nominal at $15.99 in the US, but worth every time-sucking penny.

Man, $15 sounds like plenty, but reasonable. I've always wanted to try this game out and will soon get the opportunity to do so.

Even though I already have this for my psp, I think I may just pick this up.

Everybody who has an iPhone or iPad should buy this game. Hell anyone who has some means of playing Final Fantasy Tactics should play it. Not only is it one of the best strategy rpgs ever, it also has, in my opinion, one of the greatest video game stories of all time. Definitely a no-brainer buy.

Oh sweet baby jesus, most excellent news.

I just don't know who would want to play this on an iPhone. I guess they'd make finger sized buttons but eh dunno. Also this reminds me I need to finish Ace Attorney on my touch. Kinda funny Squeenix sells FFT for $16 and Capcom sells Ace Attorney for $5. I actually got it for $3 due to a sale but still a sweet deal.

I was going to make a post about this as well. There is a video of the game in action. Control looks a bit iffy. Also, some other Square Enix ports to ios have been kinda iffy. Dunno about this one.

The controls are definitely a concern, but I still might have to buy it. My 5th copy of this game.

I've actually never beaten FFT. If they port it to Android, it'd be the perfect "Waiting for a bus" game for my phone. Maybe I'll pick up War of the Lions on PSP. Even though a PSP is more effort to whip out/put away and looks nerdier to play in public.

This is the one old FF they need to release on the DS and they are giving it to everyone else
