The EVO Fighting Game Tournament Finals are taking place this weekend, and since I'm sure many of you aren't able to make it out to Las Vegas, PlayStation has done you a solid. Sony will be streaming the entire three days of the tournament in the PlayStation Home Theater on PlayStation Home.

Yes, this means you'll actually have to use PlayStation Home to see them.  Maybe this is their nefarious way to get people to re-install it, but it may just work for the curious.

Curious? Then check out the schedule below.

Friday, July 29th

    • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Super Street Fighter IV Tournament, Early Rounds
    • 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Super Street Fighter IV Tournament, Quarterfinals
    • 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM Super Street Fighter IV Tournament, Semi-Finals (top 32 players)

Saturday, July 30th

    • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Tournament, Early Rounds
    • 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Tournament, Quarterfinals
    • 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Tournament, Semi-Finals (top 32 players)

Sunday, July 31th

9:00 AM – 9:00 PM The top 8 in each tournament square off for the 2011 championships. In order:

    • BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 Tournament Finals
    • Tekken 6 Tournament Finals
    • Mortal Kombat 9 Tournament Finals
    • Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Tournament Finals
    • Super Street Fighter IV Tournament Finals
But what this really means is that if you're one of the one's to sit and watch this, then you have no right to complain about jocks sitting down and watching Sunday Football. Or rather, jocks watching Sunday Football have no reason to feel superior to gamers. Seem's we're all just wearing different uniforms.

It's weird that I get into fighting games coincidentally as things like this happen.

I will definitely check this out and probably watch a ton of it. Ever since Brad introduced me to Gootecks/Mike Ross I am really into watching competitive fighting games now.

Got tired of the tournament fighting game community ages ago. 99% of them are pricks. It's no longer about the game, it's about serious business and money. Bleh,
