Oh, I know you've been sitting there, languishing in your own discontent, trying desperately to conjure even the most tepid enthusiasm for life knowing that your mind has not been emblazoned with the memory of Bioshock Infinite's E3 demonstration.  I know it can be hard, but I'm here to free you from that prison of drudgery. Consider yourself a slave to desperation no more, for the E3 Bioshock Infinite demo is now free for all!

The video below will see you right. Pay special attention to the vastness of the areas you'll be exploring, which is really conveyed well as the main character zips around them while fighting.  Gone are the clostrophobic areas of the original Bioshock, though that was the point at the time, having been replaced with vast open areas which reflect the very skies the game takes place in.

Also, I'm now decreeing that Elizabeth is the most adorable and attractive contemporary video gamer character around. This I command!

But do I watch it. I keep saying after every trailer I'll go on media blackout but I don't. I'm terrible.

I like how they went into the 80's for a couple seconds and "everybody wants to rule the world" came on :O

Shut up and take my money. Take ALL of it.
The gameplay looks good, and the ambient that this game is centered around seems more creepy to me than the dark and quiet hallways of Rapture.
Besides that, I'm not too sure about the gameplay; it looks more FPS oriented to me, but I'll keep an eye on it.
This game looks too good. I can't wait for this :D

It seems like the timing has to be pretty specific for all the skyrail play to work but if they pull it off, this will be a masterpiece

I think i'm having one of those brain failure moments (Just got back from the local metal club, brain's all nice and rattled so sue me, lol) but I can't see where exactly this demo is free.
Is it coming to the 360 or PS3 sometime soon or something?

I get the feeling i'm just having one of those ''I'm blind. BLIIND!!'' moments but I'll openly admit, I'm confused and need the help. I need an adult!!

On closer inspection, you simply meant the video is now actually available. It didn't occur to me, even while watching it, that I had not seen it.
I really have to go to bed :(

Besides I know I'm going to buy it, so I rather play the demo.

Absolutely amazing, I could say everything thats been said above and it would only hint at how excited I am to see how this game unfolds.

Except...for one little thing...yes, Elizabeth is very likeable, yes Booker seems very realistic...but beyond that...something about the voice acting as well as the facial acting just...doesn't sit right with me...I'm sure its something that can easily be worked on and fix by the time its released but I'm feeling nervous about how Elizabeth's massive eyes and pencil thin neck and weird torso proportions are going to convey emotion in the final game...

Call me crazy, but in any case I'll hold final judgement until the game comes out...wonky character acting or not, the game part looks great.

I am so glad that they chose a stylized art-style for this, I think it makes it look a lot better and fits the mood better too.

    Regenerating health? What crap.

The rest seems decent, however. Gunplay may not look interesting, but the sort of Condemned style ingame-cutscene thing is nice.

Its amazing how dynamic it all looks. The fact that the entire huge battle could of just as easily been avoided by ignoring the execution is amazing. And how the Zeppelin is an actual enemy, not a staged boss fight...my god, its almost too awesome to think about.

Woah! That was extremely impressive. That's the first look i've taken at the new bioshock. Everything seemed to be to such a high quality, and i mean everything. The interactions between the characters seemed very genuine...i've gone from knowing nothing - to be extremely excited for this game.

I'm...it's weird, I never expected to feel like this, but the more I've seen the less interested I'm getting. Very odd.

Maybe I have FPS burnout or something, I don't know. It looks sumptuous but something is resolutely refusing to grab me.

Still, this is why companies put out demos in the first place, for people on the fence like me. Hopefully one will spring up soon.

As soon as Elizabeth put on that Abe Lincoln head-thing, I thought to myself, "she's adorable".
