Writers submission update

A number of weeks ago we announced that we were looking to beef up our writing staff and we asked for anyone interested to send in submissions. We've been a bit quiet about it since then so I wanted to give you an update detailing our current plans.

So far we have received at least 80 submissions, and a few of us have begun the task of going through them all, but this vetting process will really kick into full gear when we return from E3. As you can imagine, the few weeks before E3 are a mad whirlwind of scheduling, emailing and preparation and we knew from the beginning that we probably wouldn't be able to give the majority of the submissions the attention they deserved until we came back.

After E3 we will pick a fairly robust group of potential writers and send those writers through a short Round 2. Don't worry though, Round 2 won't last nearly as long as Round 1 is. Round 2 will consist of a simple assignment and we will then make our choices from there.
