As the lead up to the release of Brink commences, developer Splash Damage has been releasing educational videos to insert knowledge-nuggets into our conspicuously vacant mouths. Their latest release details the 4 classes you'll be using and what special abilities each brings to the battlefield.

Brink is to be released next week, on May 10th for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

I cant make up my dam mind with this game, its been like a rollercoaster with my hype. I love the art style and the gameplay looks fun but at the same time the level of teamwork does seem a little scarey. Also the fact that I can forsee these objective games just turning in TDM. I think I might go ahead and buy it because of my friends but if your not in a party of at least a few I dont think itll be very fun.

The more I see this game, the more I start to like it. It seems like when you choose classes you have the same weapons, but different perks.

This is just one of the ten or so trailers for Brink all released in the last week or so. Talk about information overload. <.<

I am really on the fence with this game. I think I will wait for reviews before I purchase it.

I can not stress this enough at how SplashDamage makes is great at making multiplayer games. And if anyone is on the fence really try Enemy Territory Wolfenstein, which is free to see if this game is for you.

I love team/class/objective based multiplayer games. However, I think I'm starting to get my fill of them. I've been gorging myself on several games that follow the basic flow, including most recently (as in all of today) Section 8: Prejudice. Then of course there's always Team Fortress 2 and MNC to fall back on. Brink won't be an early buy for me, but perhaps some day I'll spot it for dirt cheap on PC. Either through retail or Steam. Thumbs up to emphasis on teamwork though.

Looks like an interesting game, from that trailer.
But I'm not a big online player anymore, so might pass on this one.
    Possible Steam sale though. :)
