You heard me! GLaDOS is powered up and Portal 2 is now unlocked for those purchasing the game on steam.

So what the hell are you reading this for? GO NOAW!!

(Update) After some slow-downs and some understandably choked up servers, people are getting into their PC games and playing. The rest of us will have to wait a handful more hours.

I am embarrassed to say this but I ordered the PS3 version. I plan to enjoy it over the next couple of weeks and then in a month or two, renting the 360 version once I am pro so I can speedrun through it and achieve all the cheevos.

I'll just wait until my birthday in 11 days to play it when all the server-side nonsense is finished. I'm in no rush. :P

Lawl, got it already. The single-player is far superior in comedic value than the first game. So good. I plan to spend the rest of Wednesday beating the single-player, despite the obvious setbacks of a puzzle game. >.>

3/4 of the way done with co-op with my friend, and I can assure you that was probably worth my $45 already. When I get to the single player campaign, it just gonna be extra for me. And for people who are doing single-player first, you guys are gonna love co-op.

My lord the single player is so good. I really didn't expect this game to be so fantastic, I'm seriously surprised, I guess I shouldn't doubt Valve. The humor in this game is much darker then it was in the first game as well, its kind of refreshing to be honest. How ever I do wonder what the budget for Portal 2 was just for my own curiosity .

I was very surprised to see Valve price it at $50 and not $60 like most companies. They really do care about their fanbase, which can't be said for EA or Activision, who find it appropriate to overprice their games at $70. I'm too lazy to look up the Portal 2 pricing for consoles, but I like to think they recognize the superiority of the PC, something that doesn't happen anymore (and it should).
