If you were as big a fan of Pacman CE DX as I was then you're in for a treat. Namco Bandai is giving Galaga the Namco Generations DX treatment with Galaga Legions DX, and much like Pacman CE DX you'll find traditional Galaga gameplay given both a twist and a sparkly, techno-y new coat of paint.
The gameplay looks insane in that Geometry Wars sort of way and personally I can't wait to get my hands on this.
Galaga Legions DX will be available for XBOX 360 and Playstation 3.

Hope theres a bit more too it than Focus Fire. I guess Pacman CE DX didn't introduce too much more besides ghost trains, slow motiony stuff, and bombs but I'd like to see a bit more. I've been holding off buying Galaga Legions with the sales recently because of this DX version mostly. Hope it turns out good.
Also Joseph the way you word it, it doesn't sound like you knew Galaga Legions already existed?

Kinda interesting. I loved Pac-Man CEDX, and I wonder if you can go through stages with your own music like in Space Invaders Infinity Gene, but easier. I want to see a little more because the trailer is a little underwhelming.

Galaga was my favorite Space Invaders-clone, but this looks too closely related to bullet hell shmups for my tastes.
