Another weekend! Another chance for us to sit down, get those controllers in our grubby hands and catch up on some pixellated crack! Here's what we're doing this weekend.

Nick Henderson: "I will continue to plow through Dragon Age 2 but this week is a week for multi-tasking. I am responsible for reviewing Crysis 2 so I will pop that into my 360 on Tuesday. Both of these games are a bit of a time magnet so I can't imagine myself playing anything else except maybe the Mortal Kombat demo that hit XBLA/PSN recently. I have high hopes for Crysis 2 and I am hoping that it fills that FPS void that Bulletstorm didn't quite fill. "

Nolan The Intern: "I finally started playing Dragon Age II. I was too busy to play when it came out, but as soon as I started I played for 6 hours straight, and I plan to keep it up. I also got back into Magic the Gathering after 12 years of being clean, and I bought Magic: The Gathering — Duels of the Planeswalkers on XBLA so I'll be playing that as well. Hit me up and we'll have a duel."

Carlos: "Dude. This weekend I'm finishing up dat Heavy Rain. Kinda cool but if it really was what it tries to be (a movie) it would only be good with the MST3K treatment. Don't believe the hype. Also I hope to pick up Homefront again; I'm about 3 hours in so I should only need like 15 more minutes with it. I will be in Houston for Anime Matsuri on Saturday so I probably won't get around to trying my just purchased Parasite Eve on PSN. That game looks like butt. No use trying to justify it. Just straight up butt. As usual, a round of Blops here and there and please, please, please, life, spare me some free time so that I may go back to Vampire: Bloodlines. Carlos out."

Joseph Christ: "Ill be trying to finish up Dragon Age 2. I'm still a bit "meh" on the game as far as it's standing as a sequel goes, but I've found myself sucked into the story and invested in my main character. I'll also be working on my PS2 backlog.  Eternal Poison is an old Atlus game I've had for awhile but have never gotten to. It seems like an isometric fighting RPG (Final Fantasy Tactics style) with a Gothic-lolita look. Sign me up!"

Brad Simons: "ima play games"

So what are you all playing this weekend? Sound off in the comments.

I recently picked up MvC3, and have been just addicted to the MK9 demo on PSN. That will occupy most of my weekend, and trying to get 75% competition in Just Cause 2.

I was playing the bouncer, but that game started to piss me off. So now I'm playing MS Saga: A New Dawn and now I'm thinking about giving illusion of Gaia (my favorite game) another go.

Thank you Testsubject909 for the recommendation of Ogre Battle! I would have thanked you way earlier, but I'm just a quiet viewer.

I'm going to try and plow through Dragon Age: Origins so I can get to Awakenings, then get to the Golems of Amgarrak DLC, then get to the Witch Hunt DLC, then get a full save import into Dragon Age II. I have a lot of Dragon Age left in my future.

If I'm not running around the age of dragons, then I'll be playing Team Fortress 2 and some Star Trek Online. My STO subscription expires in a couple of days and I'm way to busy trying to finish Dragon Age to play an MMO so I won't be renewing anytime soon, and that makes me sad.

So I spent today playing James Bond Bloodstone. I have to agree that this was a really great game and if Bizarre Creation's hadn't been shut down, they were meant to make a sequel. The setpieces were amazing, especially some of the driving sequences. Sure mechanicly it wasn't anything remarkable, but I came away from my playthrough really impressed and I had a lot of fun.

Over the next few days I want to start Ninja Blade, I actually heard a lot of positive opinions on the game, even though recently for some of the quicktime event discussions, some people have been negative on it. I haven't played Dead Frontier for a week so I need to start playing that again, I believe last time I was on, I was a level 13 scientist. So finally that leaves me with some minecraft, I have just installed a Zelda texture pack so it is time for some more adventures.

Finally started on Chrono Trigger. It's really fun! I mean, I put it down for the moment to finish up the homework and spring cleaning that I've supposed to been doing, but hey. It's easy to play for a bit and put down, even though it is great to just play for a while.

My PS3 just yellow lighted, but I did the blow dryer technique and brought her back to life. I'm scared of even turning my PS3 on. :( but I'll try. I really want to keep playing Dragon Age II and finish up on the third and fourth endings of Nier. I would play on my 360 but....ahhh I can't find the motivation to do so. Is that bad?

Maybe fit in some xenogears. My spring break just started so I get to catch up on alot of games I held off on, during my winter term.

I *should* get around to finishing DA2 but I don't wanna. Instead I'll be working on my steam backlog, both DeusEXs, some dawn of war 2, maybe a bit of left4dead2, I might mess around in Stalker S.O.C, might hit up some Red Faction Guerrilla, And finally I could get a bit further into The Witcher if i feel like it. On the console front I have Yakuza3, Dead Rising2, Bulletstorm, might try to finish The Saboteur, If i can get a party together I'll play borderlands, and if all else fails i might try to progress in Dragon Age 2, or i could go outdoors or something.

Holy crap that's a big list, I should better get started.

Just played some BC2 multiplayer, but I really wasn't feeling it (my team wasn't all that good) so I quit. I played some more Rock Band 3, you can only play so much before you go nuts. I was hoping to pick up my Homefront copy today, but I couldn't. Hopefully I'll be able to get it tomorrow, but we'll see. I might start up KZ3 tomorrow, but I really want to beat KZ2 first, but it's infuriating me to no end. There's a bunch of other stuff I should be playing, but I know I wont get to (like Episode 1 and Enslaved, both of which I'm on parts I just don't want to play through). I think that's it, but I'm probably forgetting a bunch of stuff.

I just picked up Ninja Gaiden Sigma out of impulse, I'm really enjoying it. It has a surprisingly deeper combat system than I expected. I'm not ready to say if I think it's better or worse than Bayonetta or DMC4 yet, but the gameplay is lightning fast and I really like balancing essence collecting and doing ultimate attacks; there is kind of a strategy that goes with it that makes it really satisfying.

Playing Yakuza 4 non-stop. Definitely one of the most criminally underrated series. Playing Yakuza 4 is just plain fun, and I always feel like I'm enjoying myself, which is more than I can say for a lot of games, even ones I've genuinely liked.

Playing through Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Loved AC2 so, even if there aren't a ton of fresh beats in it, still enjoying Brotherhood a lot too. About 15% in...I'm liking both the touches of character they're trying to bring into the future-day 'Scooby Gang' and opting to swing around a two-handed sword instead of Ezio's usual finesse swordplay!

I'm currently in a game-rutt, with little to no desire to chomp away at my console games...but with that being said, I'm working on wrapping up Nier on 360. I pushed Killzone 2 into the PS3 in an attempt to spark something to get me out of this rutt, but that failed horribly. Man, FPS games of that mold are sooo boring and 2D in story.

I've mostly been spending my time laying on the couch with my beloved DS. I've been swapping cards for that lots, playing Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, N+, Henry Hatsworth, & Layton and the Diabolical Box.

Oh, and I pushed Dragon Age II aside for Plainscape Torment. I made myself a rule; No DA2 until I finish Plainscape. I'm pretty sure Plainscape's a better game still, but I'll hold my judgement till I've wrapped em both up.

I'm currently obsessing over Tactics Ogre.

It reminds me so much so of Ogre Battle and that small portion I played on the Snes (never played much of Tactics Ogre. At the time I was far too endeared towards Ogre Battle to accept the drastic change).

I'll also be doing a few other games when they come my way, Dynasty Warriors 7 is going to be plowed through the moment I have my hands on it and aside from that...

I'll have to add to Joseph that... Eternal Poison. Lovely game, but, unless I'm mistaken from what I played, there's one grave flaw.

You. Can't. Skip. The. Fucking. Battle. Animations...

They're small 3D animations that loads up at every attack, which slows down the pace of combat heavily. It's quite annoying.
