If you're one of the people who have decided to pay money to the PSN network, next week is another chance for you to cash in your chips. Sony announced today that a demo for the next installment of Mortal Kombat will be available to these lucky members March 9th. The rest of us apostates will have to wait another week to get our mits on the bone crunching, blood spilling vomit blowing fighting game.

The demo will feature Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage and Mileena as well as two environments The Pit and The Living Forest for you to conduct the above mentioned crunching, spilling and blowing.

Check out the trailer for  Challenge Tower below. It was released today so it's not old. IT'S NOT.

Challenge Tower sounds pretty sweet. Suddenly, I'm a little interested in this.

Ok, now hold on a moment. Is this new "Challenge Tower" the replacement for Conquest mode? Because if so, I'll most likely not get the game.

The Challenge tower looks promising. As Kalekemo said it would be a shame if they replaced Konquest mode with it though. I also enjoy the new Test your Luck mode.

Hoory! Mortal Kombat goodness! I was hoping that the series would continue in a rain of blood and gore...not that I'm a giant fan of the game, but hey.

The fact that there is only a week difference makes me not feel the need to upgrade to PSPlus. The only thing they could do to make me feel like it's worthwhile is more free downloads at release (Stacking for example) or saving to the cloud so I can pull all my files at my girlfriends house to keep playing while she's at work so I don't have to copy files (or in the case of Dragon Age find out they are not transferable).

lol your pics for the posts have been making me laugh lately joseph XD

let me know how that goes out people: Mortal kombat just hasnt been the same, matter of fact worse than ever in my opinion. I'd love to hear how this fall from grace franchise is doing.

At first I was kind of "meh" about MK. But this past week a lot of details have been released and I am seriously considering getting it.
