Just take a look at this new Trine 2 gameplay footage and tell me you aren't taken in by how beautiful it looks. This game is currently very high in my "do want" list and considering the fun we've had playing it here at 4Player, I can guarantee that there is some Trine 2 goodness coming this way.

I can't help but feel that something really special happens in games that require 2-player cooperative play. Games that utilize this mechanic seem to spring to life in a social way that isn't seen in any other genera.

Looks really good, however I kinda feel that the game might be linear, but I shouldn't let that stop me from liking Trine.

It's so purrdy, though with the additional attention to detail comes constrained paths and length. Such is the trade-off. Maybe a little bit of the magic within the gorgeous scenery leaked into the level design to give more pathways and options? We can be hopeful at least.

How does it require 2 player co-op? But regardless it looks really great.
