There's nothing better than when two distinctly different things can be brought together in a loving way. And in this vein, hacker Shantanu Goel has created the Movect by writing a computer program that makes the Kinect usable on the PS3. The implementation is far from perfect, and the technology behind both the move and kinect are similar in nature, but you don't usually see an exclusive peripheral  be so easily adapted. It reminds me of the old days in gaming where you could go so far as to plug different systems' controllers into each other and they would work fine.

Hopefully the world is ready for the union that Mr. Goel as consummated, and it will not have to live a life of worried stares and prejudice.

Clearly it doesn't work well, but the fact that it works at all is pretty cool.

The Jungle Fever DVD cover was pretty unexpected.

As for the video itself, it's pretty interesting what modders are doing with the Kinect, it spices up a really gimmicky peripheral.

And I am sure within minutes of posting this to the internet Mr. Goel received several cease and desist letter from both Microsoft and Sony as well as any related parties.

That is really cool, I wish companies would support this stuff instead of suing people over it.
