For those who couldn't make it to PAX East and play Fez, developer Polytron released a direct feed gameplay video today, showing off the first few minutes of the game. It looks absolutely wonderful. You can hear hands-on impressions of the game on the Day 1 PAX East podcast. Fez is to be released sometime this year on Xbox Live Arcade.

Very cool use of perspective, seems like a pretty relaxing and surreal game. The graphics remind me of Cave Story, which isn't a bad thing. I'm definitely interested in this one.

I like the perspective switching. Looks like it can lead to some pretty interesting puzzles.

This game looks awesome! Very trippy and clever in it's mechanics. Though my favorite part of the video was at 2:08, I wasn't expecting that at all.

I like it. From a idea/art standpoint it looks great. Content looks great too. I don't think I could get enough out of this to buy it though. Wonder how much Fez will be.
