With all the big games coming out this year it seems like we've been greedily sucking at any tit we can find, no matter how small, just as long as it spurts forth a little information into our hot yearning mouths. When that tit runs dry we move on, hungry little piglets destined to eat from one soupy areola after another until there is nothing left, and our brothers die of starvation.

Battlefield 3 is no exception. The newest cover featuring the game has been released and we're going to clamp down on it like we did everything else. It's similar to the style that has been set by Bad Company 2 which makes it seem like Battlefield (original) and Bad Company are going to become one in the same. Battlefield 3 will be featuring the new itteration of the Frostbite engine conveintnaly named "Frostbite 2." DICE promises a "exponential leap in destructibility" and those toppling skyscrapers might give us an indication of what they are talking about.

And as if this nugget wasn't enough, a teaser trailer for Battlefield 3 will be released tomorrow. Expect a lot of CGI, explosions and shooting with a little bit of gameplay if we're lucky.  In the meantime we'll just be here sucking.

FFFFFF Battlefield 3! I swear if there is a fall announcement I am officially going to be living in a box using new releases of this year for warmth. Seriously?

How many amazing game announcements have there been in the past 2 months?

If I'm able to take down a whole building, causing the rubble and debris to fall on and kill the enemy soldiers...Mother of God

I didn't like Bad Company 2 nearly as much I did the original BC. This might have been due to either the fact that the destruction didn't feel as rad as it did in the first, the story was too CoD-serious, or that I didn't like the online maps. I'm glad they're working on the destructibility, but I never really was a big fan of these "realistic" shooters.

I hope its not going to be watered down as bad for consoles. I just want them to make a BF2-BFBC2 mix and match.

Replace the soldiers and tank with some cars and you've got an ad for just about any racing game ever.

In all seriousness though 2011 is going to be jam packed with what appear to be quality titles. Its a good sign when you can say that at the start of every year for about 3 or 4 years straight.

If you want a mix of Battlefield and Bad Company search Battlefield Play 4 Free. Knew BF 3 was coming for a while now should be good.

You kids are pretty uninformed... the standalone Battlefield series is very different... Bad Company was a real change of pace compared to Battlefield 2... BF =/= BC.
