Game Informer has some brand new, and fairly awesome, screenshots of the Tomb Raider reboot available on their site. As much as I loved the early Tomb Raider games, I haven't been able to get into one in a long time.
It looks like that's about to change.

You know what I wanna see, no matter how improbable and the least amount sense it makes?
I wanna see Lara Croft and Nathan Drake be hinted at being part of the same universe. Maybe even have them step into each others games.

An actual post? On the 4playerpodcast website? Every 5 days? Say it isnt so!

wow, they actually made her attractive in a more natural way. i'm glad they ditched the angelina jolie-fakeboobs-pouty lips- look.
perhaps the fact that Eidos is owned by Square Enix has something to do with her new aesthetic?

Wow, battered women never looked more attractive. It definately LOOKS great, hope it's actually a "Tomb Raider" game.

Bitchin'.
With that boat picture, I'm hoping I get to sprint off a cliff and swan dive in amongst the wreckage.

I am the only one that is more worried every time i see more info on this Tomb Raider? I have played all of them since 1996, and some of the early ones are very beloved. Now the new style of gaming might be interesting, but the more screen shots i see, the more they remind me of the look of Underworld. Witch, let's face it, was just rocks, dirt and rain. EXTREMELY boooring! I just hope this is only a small portion of the level design because they don't want to reveal anything this early, but still. For me, and i think most other early TR fans, the biggest reason for why we enjoyed the game was the variety, uniqueness and creative design of the worlds she explored, and not so much the development of the character Lara Croft. (One of the bigger reason why the Movies have miserably failed, among other things.) And it seems now it has completely shifted. Is Lara really worth creating a emotional and complex level of her characters, or is she just more useful as familiar silhouette with a nice ass you get to stare while you roam around levels, they rather be spending more time on creating?
Please do answer.

Amazing screens, it looks like its from gameplay, at one screen there is LT/RT in bottom right corner, if it is from gameplay, graphics are amazing :-)

My only concern about this game: survival is something that always sounds fun, until you actually have to play it.

Enix may be running low on originality these days, but their graphical magic is better than ever.
I'm so excited for this game it's ridiculous.

Certainly seems to have a great look.
How is plays is going to be much more important though, still on tenderhooks for that.
