Itsaaaa time for a party!!

It was no surprise to me; the announcement of 4PP being nominated for “Best Gaming Podcast 2010”. Mainly because I am re-informed of how much the guys @ 4playerpodcast.com love the video games we all play every time I watch a live-stream, or listen to a podcast, or read a front-page article. Unlike the other sites nominated, these guys managed to enlist an army of community-members so “hardcore” -- and devoted -- to 4PP, they go ahead and win the podcast award for the 2nd year in a row (based on podcastawards.com data). And they deserve it! We deserve it.

The people behind 4PP let you into their gamer-life every time they podcast. The view of their living room -- or dinning, whatever it is -- combined with the 4 “characters” sitting around that wonderful table is why we come here. Why we voted for these fools! Because we love what they do, and want to give them the gas to burn ass for another 4 years and running.

I’ll close this piece by speaking directly to the staff here @ 4PlayerPodcast. You never let us down; we’ll never let you down. You keep on giving us what we want; we keep on being the lovely community you all have helped build. Congrats on the award. Take it as reassurance of how great what you guys do, is to the video gamer world. Last year, I voted every day for you guys. I knew there were others who were doing the same.

However still, my biggest surprise last year was that you guys won the podcast awards. You had some stiff competition from the likes of Giant Bomb and Cheapy D.

This year I admit I didn't get to vote as often as I did last year,
and on the podcast and live feed, you guys didn't make the same big fuss about the Podcast awards that you did last year.
And you guys won again.
This was just as big a surprise for me as last year.
But really, you guys deserve it.

You touched so many gamers lives with your revealing look into your lives that you've given to us over the course of these three long years, the humorous gameplay, hours apon hours of entertainment, and of course, the friendship you guys share with each other, and the relationship you guys have with us, your community.

At least that's the way it was for me.

Here is to many more years of 4PlayerPodcast.
