More Development Team Members Blog the TRUTH. Epic Games This Time.

You may have seen recently that an employee of EA who goes by the name "EA Louse" has been spouting off about the, possible, reasons that the Warhammer MMO failed to deliver, and offering some of the same warning about Knights of the Old Republic.  Just today, another development team member from Valve has done almost the same in regards to the Dota 2 news. We haven't linked to either since since it is almost impossible to verify the accounts.

However, this afternoon another development team member has blogged about some of the problems plaguing Epic Games, and Cliff Bleszinski in particular.  Seeing as Gears 3 has recently been delayed this story has much more fruit on the vine.

I am an employee at Epic Megagames. I do not work on anything directly related to Cliff Bleszinski, but somewhere around that area. Long story short, everything you think you know about "Cliffy B" is a lie. He is hopelessly addicted to Hostess Fruit Pies and it is ruining his life. Why did COG not allow women to fight even though it would take embryos 12 years to be fightin' fit and it makes more sense in the short term to have as many soldiers as possible on the front lines? Not because of any chauvinism or lack of foresight, but strictly because the dude running the show was eating upwards of 20 lemon flavored Hostess Fruit Pies EVERY DAY while both Gears of War and GOW 2 were in development.

And really it all makes sense.  Ever notice that the GOW CD's always smell a bit like lemon when you open them.
