Hey. So let's say that even though Borderlands is a great game you, for some unknown reason, never had a chance to pick it up. Maybe your aunt was getting married, or it was the day to shave the dog.  Well it seems that you're in luck.  Today 2K Games confirmed the Borderlands Game of the Year Edition to be released on October 12, 2010.

In this package of gun-collecting deliciousness you also get The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, The Secret Armory of Genereal Knoxx, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, and a token to download the recently announced Claptrap's new Robot Revolution. I think they might be out of characters to name DLC after so we might be in the clear until Borderland 2 comes out.

For those ignorant few who don't know, Borderlands is an RPG style-shooter with a Diablo'esque loot system.  If that means nothing to you then you are probably at the wrong website. Allow me to redirect you here.

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition will be listed for $59.99 on the Xbox 360 and ps3, and $49.99 for Windows PC.

I didn't even realize that Borderlands could be considered a Game of the Year. Still, this is pretty cool.

Idk about anyone else but The last two DLCs were not very good imo. Ive lost interest in any more DLC packs for the game after playing part of mad moxxis and general knoxx. But i am still interested in the actual sequal.

I lol'd at the link XD

I dont really wanna buy the DLCS, Microsoft points just seem to screw it up for me. And I cant afford to get a GOTY with every dlc ever made.

    I hate you microsoft...
