I know that I haven't been the biggest cheerleader for the new Fallout lately.  After my hands on at E3 I just couldn't shake the feeling that New Vegas was going to be more of the same.  Something more like a huge expansion pack than anything else.  Today the full achievement list for New Vegas was released and I can now  say that I'm starting to get excited. Why, you ask? What has made my flops flip in such a flippity floppity way? Well look for yourself. Apparently I can get banned from Casino's in New Vegas. Banned. What on earth does one have to do to get banned from a casino during the apocalypse? I, for one, intend to find out.

Other things of note?

    • 125+ locations to discover
    • Weapon Mods
    • Playable Blackjack, slots and caravan
    • 30 levels

...and of course the wonderful Hardcore mode which I shall be playing because I, myself, am both "Hard" and "Core." Sometimes not even in that order.  Even if Fallout: New Vegas is more of the same, its apparently A LOT more of the same, and I can see where the next 130hrs of my life are going to go once its released.

I dropped about 120 hours into Fallout 3 back in 08'. This is my most anticipated game this year, can't wait.

I don't know if I'll play through Hardcore mode. I didn't enjoy much of the time I played of Stalker but that was probably due to the weird feel of it. And some of these sound just stupid. 10k Damage of Unarmed damage? Unless guys have like 200 HP each then that won't be happening without some grinding.

Thanks for posting this Joseph . I myself will be playing Hardcore but at the moment I am only core. At least until new vegas comes out.

I'm guessing side quests don't give you achievements in this one? Because 20 quests (including the main questline) isn't all that much.

Just feels like a anothr expansion and sounds like one too. Im not overly fuseed for this game, despite Fallout3 being my favourite RPG ever.
