After spending a lot of time with Modern Warfare 2 I'm starting to get very excited for the upcoming Bad Company 2.  Contemporary, fast paced, combat mixed with fully destructable environments.  I'm sure you've all been playing MW2 as well. Watch the Bad Company 2 footage below and tell me you aren't as excited as I am.

p.s.  Remember when we were all so excited about the (pre-rendered) destruction in the first Red Faction?  Yeah.  Seems like a long time ago doesn't it?

I'm in the Beta right now and all I can say is that this is one of the best experiences I have had in a shooter. BF:BC 2 should be on any FPS fans to buy list.

If anyone needs a beta code, had to Gamespot, make (or use, if you have one already) a free account, and you're set. I just got mine, and I'm downloading it to my PS3 now. As a fan of the Battlefield series (I've especially been addicted to 1943), I can't wait to give this a go. Sure makes Modern Warfare 2 (a great game in its own right) look downright silly in comparison. If BC2 lives up to my expectations, my pre-order will be all but guaranteed.

I'm not that big of a fan of militaristic shooters, but Bad Company was an exception for me. I really liked the characters, and the zany story. I'm hyped for 2.

I've always liked the battlefield series more than the call of duty games. I prefer the gameplay in Battlefield, always did, and the destructive environment looks sick in this new one!

    Cant wait!
