We never would have guessed that EA would manage to crank out not one, but TWO impressive Star Wars games in a row. Krispy returns to the fold this week to talk about 'Star Wars Squadrons' and how it has managed to surprise and delight against the odds. The group also dives even deeper into 'Hades', Nick highlights 'Lost in Vivo' courtesy of Carlos' recommendation, and Chris Davis revisits '13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim' now that he has sunk a considerable amount of time into it. In the 2nd segment, it's been a slow news week so we use that extra air time to catch up on supporter questions.

Hades definitely sounds intriguing. I enjoyed their game "Transistor", so It's inspired me to go back and play Bastion soon, a game I always wanted to try, but never got around to it. Also, loved the banter from everyone in regards to the "empire" innuendos. Maybe one day, we'll rid the galaxy of the "emperor" and his followers.

Seconding MisterSc0rpi0n's comments. May the empire fall and forever be scorched by embarrassment and ruin.

On the question on favorite mechanics, I loved the Nemesis system in Shadow of Mordor. Nothing interests me more than the thought of downing an enemy (or them killing me) only for them to come back stronger and more hostile. I just wish it was implemented in more games.

Why is Brad concerned about the PS Store being “open” at all times? Just wondering why that seems to be a problem? We all know physical games will soon be a part of the past. All that plastic doesn’t need to be made and distributed anymore. So instant access to the store seems like a plus.
