Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and we have a lot of gaming to be thankful for. Death Stranding continues to inspire plenty of discussion and Brad came prepared with 4 new indie games to recommend. In the news, Valve finally did the unthinkable and announced Half Life: Alyx for Steam VR headsets; news that is both extremely exciting AND cost prohibitive. We also deliver our thoughts on the new Game Award nominees and answer some questions from our patrons (for whom we are also thankful)!

Your last week's episode was fantastic, I had such great time. Well, today’s chapter is nice too but this was not that much good as the last one. Excited to know what will happen next, so I will wait for the next episode impatiently.

In regards to Brad's " developers putting actual patches into games as a joke" comment. Whoever played Sea of Thieves at all during its first week received the " day 1 patch" which is a black eyepatch with a large red 1 on it. kinda funny I guess. it's now one of the rarest cosmetics in the game because of that short window to receive it. While on the subject. Sea Of Thieves has come a long way since its launch and deserves a second chance from the community in my opinion. There is nothing else out there like it.
    Love Tobias

I do sympathize with Brad's frustrations with Half-Life: Alyx, especially with the price tag that comes attached with VR. We absolutely should wait and see how the situation develops in the hopes of something lowering that entry barrier.

Honestly I'm getting flashbacks from when Half-Life 2 was released and I didn't have the means to buy a good enough PC to play it. Only when it got released on Xbox did I have a chance to play it and loved it.

While I'm not holding out or hoping for a non-VR port, I wouldn't be surprised if one came out a year or more after the initial release for Alyx.

Regarding Half Life: Alyx, what are y'all's hopes regarding how significant the story for this game is in terms of the overall story of Half Life?
I could imagine fans being conflicted because it's been so long since the last entry and they'd want something juicy that really adds to the lore, while also not wanting it to be something they have to worry about missing out on due to how inaccessible it is. I personally don't have much of an opinion as I've never played any of the Half Life games

Also, have y'all played any Disco Elysium lately? I wouldn't mind hearing about some of the interesting stories Brad undoubtedly has ;)

Hey guys, amazing podcast as always. I don't know if this has been brought up in the past but are there any archives of your previous Project Ms? I remember finding them back in the day but were they all lost to the Justin.Tv switch? Or am I looking in the wrong spots? Thanks a lot!
