It's probably time to let the cannibalism discussion go... but...
Why does the context in which cannibalism takes place always a survival situation? Imagine a situation in which someone WANTED to be eaten after their death. Assuming they die of natural causes and aren't killed unwillingly, why is it unethical to eat that corpse? The only problems I see here is the uncharted territory of human cuisine - what is the best way to prepare a filet quadricep?
Also, it is very strange to me that consensual cannibalism is generally considered worse than regular meat consumption. Have you seen how factory farm animals are treated? That shit's fucked up. I'd rather eat a human than veal.
In conclusion, consenting human meat is vegan. Peace.

Regarding the possibility of FFX-3, my stance is with Nick on staunch Nay. Doesn't help that there was an audiobook-like story that was released awhile back that took place after FFX-2 where - spoiler - our main couple get into a domestic argument and end up seperated.
Now a FFVIII follow up on the other hand...

Since you (Nick) are so absolutely opposed to even the THOUGHT of cannibalism, so much so that I bet you're afraid to even kiss another person out of fear that you'd ingest their skin cells, imagine you're in a desperate survival situation with Brad and 2-day old puppy. Brad gave you written permission to feast upon his long and succulent body. He dies of exhaustion because he is much more alpha than you, so he requires more energy to live. Do you eat Brad, or kill the tiny, innocent puppy to for food? Whichever you choose must last you 2 whole weeks (you can freeze it).

On the topic of cannibalism, Nolan said "they're not going to eat themselves".
Well, earlier this year there was a story about a guy who had to have his foot and part of his lower leg amputated. He somehow got the leg back from the hospital, kept it on ice and then made it into tacos for his friends (they were aware of what they were eating). He said it tasted like buffalo.
There's a rather graphic imgur album documenting it: https://imgur.com/a/Binbc

Also, since you guys mentioned the movement in Quake, I'll take this opportunity to mention that there's a sub-community that treats the games as first-person 3D platformers, and what's remarkable is how rich the set of (mostly unintended) mechanics end up being. People do time attack runs, as well as 'freestyle' tricks akin to skate boarding. Unfortunately there's a huge barrier of entry in terms of skill, but I feel like videos of it still hold some appeal to non-players.
Here's a time attack one for anyone curious:

I found a new place for the next E3 meetup!
It’s a nice place, not everyone is into it but most are. It’s got some great food but there’s no accounting for everyone’s tastes, however some of the community already seems on board. It’ll probably be like the sausage place all over again for Nick; a life changing experience. And the best part is that the line is quick so you won’t have to starve.
