4Player Podcast #581 - The Zeus and Hera Show (Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Darksiders 3, Devil May Cry 5, and More!)

Published by 4Player Podcast on Dec. 15, 2018

It's definitely starting to feel a lot like Christmas. A Christmas Miracle does occur on this week's episode but that's not what I mean. No, I am referring to the overwhelming number of games that we find ourselves trying to play before the year comes to a close! We take a look at Super Smash Bros Ultimate of course but it's games like Darksiders 3 and Monster Boy that are truly vying for our time and money. That's not all though. Nick shares his thoughts on the new Devil May Cry 5 demo and the news is jam packed full of important headlines you won't want to miss!

This Week's Discussion Topics:

Feedback from Our Last Episode
A Christmas Miracle
Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Devil May Cry 5 (Demo)
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
Darksiders 3
Epic Games New Storefront
Sonic the Hedgehog Horror Movie
and more...

I would like to ask Krispy about the topic of Soles being the end of action games. I absolutely agree with the poster. How many times do you hear souls lite, or souls like? Too many times are games compared to each other

I agree with Brad that it's bullshit that Xenoblade Chronicles X gets not mention at the game awards but in regards of Bayonetta's hair I have to side with Nick, short hair looks good on Bayonetta

I had been wanting Dusk ever since I watched Brad play it on the feed a while ago. My friend got it for me on launch day and I'm really enjoying it! I probably wouldn't have been as interested if I hadn't seen Brad play it. So thanks, Brad!

Love you guys, keep up the great work!

So with Mr.Davis having a mic, can we get his inclusion in the 4 player minute? Seems to be mostly use in the introductions of the podcast.

    With love,

I'm with Brad about not rewatching movies. I'd rather have all that time to watch a new one to have a new experience.

I'd like to extend this lil transcript of episode 17 of cocktail time from way back february 2011 as a thank you to Brad for mentioning Let It Die being released on pc.
I'm still amazed at a free game that good and even having it's own story instead of just endless dungeons. Any souls fan in the room still left to play it should give it a try. It has a bit of jank, but also lots of those weird lovely details that define Suda51's style.

Anyways, great podcast as always, keep up the good work and hope this brings a smile to yall. Happy holydays!.
Carlos: What if the console of the future is powerful like the ps3. It's small enough to carry with you. And then, when you come home, you plug it on a dock and just play it on your tv like you play your ps3.
You know, like, its kinda like they made the ps3 a portable console that you could play at home, on your tv and have, like, hd graphics n shit. Or that you can take with you on the go.

Joseph: That sounds awesome. And i think that might be where its going.
Uhmmm. Have you patented the idea?. i think you should patent that.

Carlos: Nah, im too lazy dude. Fuck it.

    If he only Knew.
