State of Decay 2 brings both intrigue and disappointment this week thanks to some unruly bugs and perhaps a dash of feature creep. Brad finally has a chance to talk about Pillars of Eternity 2 as well as the retro throwback, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. Nolan also revisits the final release of Moonlighter which is scheduled for release next week!

    Regarding the Battlefield V “controversy”: I think DICE/EA are clearly pandering to the political climate. Cuz lets be honest, if they actually gave a shit about gender diversity and female representation, they wouldn’t have waited till Battlefield 1 to make this move. There would have already been female characters in their other Battlefield games years ago. They’re doing it now because it’s a timely hot-button topic that’ll likely draw attention to the game.

    Nick- I think if you are interested in Yakuza: play them on easy, mainline the story and I think they are 12-14 hour games (Yakuza 5 may have been a bit longer) Yeah there is some goofy fun side stuff you would miss, but as a lover of stories I think you will still get a lot out of the main stories. Its a great mafia soap opera.
