Watch the intro of Gran Tourismo Sport and tell me you don’t want to race. You all miss out.

Great to hear from you Brad! Hope Henry is doing great. My daughter turned 1 last month, it gets really fun.
Quick takes:
1- I have heard the sentiment in a few places that Kiryu is a little bland in Yakuza 0. You are not wrong, I'll just say stick with him- he has some incredible moments in the rest of the series. Just hard to compare to Majima.
2- I think one of the reasons people are ***holes to developers when they fail, is they usually feature frontmen who talk a big game (Randy "PitchMan" Pitchford, Clifford B.) and so, human nature, they like to rub it in their faces when it doesn't work out. Not saying its right.

I completely agree with brad about shadow of the colossus. There is something to be said about all the art in the game being replaced, not to mention changing the way lots of things look. The whole thing just seems like a purposeless remake. sotc is one of my favorite games and I just cant help but feel grossed out by this new remake. I'd much rather see all of this time and money being put to something new and original, instead of sony rereleasing amazing games we've all already played. If you want to play the definitive version I'd recommend playing the PAL version on pcsx2. The emulator has been able to play sotc in 4k @ 60fps for years now and you get the relish in all the amazing original artwork.
