Nintendo brought the press conference portion of E3 2017 to a close with some surprise announcements including not one, but TWO Metroid games spanning both the Switch and 3DS! On the show floor, we checked out all of the Sony theater presentations including more detailed looks at Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Monster Hunter World, and Days Gone. We also got a look at Namco Bandai's E3 lineup featuring Ni No Kuni 2, Dragonball Fighterz, and Ace Combat 7 (in VR!).

I wish another of you would check out Ace Combat. What better experience in VR could you have than piloting a military fighter jet? VR aside, this is the game I want to see in 4k.

I don't quite get what Nick said about feeling that he has to "catch them all" when discussing the pokemon announcement. It is a tagline for the series, but it's not a focus of the games themselves.
Assuming that game freak do a good job of adopting their formula to a hybrid console like the switch, and it is the next generation of pokemon. That alone makes the switch a far more compelling prospect as far as i'm concerned.
