I regards to what brad said about player unknown or PUB G, being about experiences. I feel like some of the best games out there are the ones that can offer you unique experiences like being trapped in a small shed while your unknowingly being surrounded and either coming out on top or being horribly riddled with bullets.

No relationship building? No thanks. Keep your Tactics Ogre out of Fire Emblem, Brad.

Unless they have Japanese voice options back in the next REAL Fire Emblem, I won't even bother. Don't know what they though they were doing in Fates, but Awakening is the way to go.

While it's not story related per say, the dialogue between two characters in versus can often be very surprising and funny. Swamp Thing and Poison Ivy do have some of that type of discussion, but I think one of my favorite is between Green Arrow and Black Canary where they talk about who does the dishes after the fight.

I don't know Krispy, Battlegrounds sounds like every other Alpha/Beta Battle Royal-esque game to have come out in 2016. Dropped into a map with nothing, scavenge anything you can, and survive is an overdone concept. $10 says this game is forgotten about in a month.

Any sequel to Life in Boring will bomb, not because the first was bad, but because there was such a split between who liked it and who didn't. Kind of like Hilary Clinton not becoming president, it was because she was both hated and liked by an equal proportion of voters. Although I must confess, I thought Life is Boring sucked a big fat schlong.

    Hello beautiful people,

On this episode you were discussing popular character designs that you didn't like and Final Fantasy XV came up. While I agree that I don't like the whole emo prince thing Noctis and his crew had going on, I do like that they themed them to be out of place in the world. They were from Insomnia where everyone dresses like they work at Hot Topic, so it made sense that they stood out amongst the regular folks outside of the capital.

Great podcast guys but I have to say I'm a little confused by Brad's comments about how 'Life is Strange' can't become an anthology franchise. Brad seemed to suggest that there is no story/gameplay element that could be crossed over to new characters and settings. I can't help but think Brad completely forgot about the time travel mechanic in the first game.

I'm willing to bet that the next 'Life is Strange' will be set in a new location with new characters, one of which gains those time manipulation abilities. A different protagonist with a different personality, dealing with problems in different ways. In my opinion 'Life is Strange' is just a vague enough title to lend itself well as an anthology.

I apologize for my oh so horrible infraction last week, hopefully this will make up for it.
Brad thanks for the impressions on fire emblem, ill be picking it up as soon as we find out about a possible switch port, i finally sit down and play Nier Automata for longer than 5 minutes and finish up Trails of cold steel, which i believe brad brought up once or twice on the podcast awhile back, did anything ever come of that or did that get back burnered?
Also Krispy, are you currently reading any comics and if so can you share suggestions for a guy attempting to break into the hobby?
I'm slowly making my way through The batman/ninja turtles crossover and Genndy Tartakovskys Luke Cage.

I don't think it would be too out there for a new Life is Strange game with a new power for some new teenager to deal with. I don't think there's much else to do with Chloe and Max anyway and none of the other characters were all that interesting. I remember being negative on the last episode, but I'd be interested in seeing what they do for the next game.

Just want to point out that Soul Calibur series has had armor pieces and set in it's series since IV (4) from 2008. Kidding aside I wish Injustice 2 had included more outfits for each hero from specific series or movies/shows. I think it would have brought not only a great support for those fans but also allowed you to further tailor the games characters into your ideal vision of them. (Justice League Cartoon getup please?) Why is there not appreciation for Batman Beyond? Wtf.

Hey there, just wanted to throw out a bit of history. o-o /

Ancient Egypt did have a decent navel force o-o / in fact they fought off in a successful war against the people of the sea, They didn't have cannon but they had archers along with the tactic of ramming a ship and boarding with light infantry.

So navel combat could work just not exactly like in black flag o-o /

About how you guys said you'll probably end up climbing the cellphone towers in farcry 5, it's interesting because a lot nowadays are disguised as trees.

Also, if you guys don't get In n out while y'all are in Cali during e3, I will be very upset.

Brad, so you don't accidentally kill your baby, please do not give your baby water. Your baby shouldn't be drinking water outside of formula or breast milk until he's about 6 months old. Once your baby is 6 months old, it's okay to give him sips of water.
