If they don't address losing your wraith buddy, I'll be a bit disappointed. He was a cool dead elf.

You guys were unfortunately right about the idea that you would be unable to continue the well restrained game impressions i complimented last week.
One thing i noted is the amount of times issues with keeping up with 2017's game released came up. Which seems like a stressful topic, and makes me happy that i don't feel compelled to keep up with the zeitgeist.

Hey guys- long time viewer (mainly listener) since the JTV days. Just gave you my twitch prime 'free' subscription. I think the first time I saw the stream you were doing a 100-community level LittleBigPlanet thing. I wanted to know, as a Twitch subscriber, but not a Patron, am I able to submit questions?
Thanks.

Krispy's early impression of the technical aspects of Horizon on a PS4 not a Pro, really has me reconsidering playing it. I hate, HATE that consols have gone this way. It used the be the single unifying reason a gamer chose a consol over PC was the ability to just pop it in and get the experience. Here, it sounds like there is a hudge difference in quality between the Ps4 and pro versions of this game.
If I may ask a follow up question, does the regular version of Horizon feel like a poor game technically compared to other PS4 games? or just in comparison to its Pro version?

1mtboy i believe Krispy is an outlier when it comes to the technical experience when playing Horizon on a standard PS4. Digital foundry has was very positive about the experience of playing it both on the pro, and standard PS4.

I think Monolith will make a forgettable game with Shadow of Mordor. The third age has been done to death and with so much lore and different locations in Tolkien's work to pull from, it's a missed opportunity to expand on aspects that haven't been covered. A story about the elves at war with Morgoth would be new and interesting while still utilizing the nemesis system.
Yours truly

2017 seems like it will be the next 1998 or 2007 for video gaming. Too early to call it, but so far it seems like it will be a landmark year for the medium.
