Man. Fuck Quadrapalagic Cowboy. People are wanking off all over this property, so I give it a look see, and what do I get?

A lazy piece of trash. "It's like a Tarantino movie!", yeah, if Taranatino decided not to do any goddamn characters or narrative, with a story that has the same intensity of that time you weren't sure if your fart would be loud or quiet. Turns out it was quiet, because there isn't any fucking dialogue.

The art style.. Oh god, I'd rather pour bleach in my fucking eyes. I don't give a single flying fuck if this was done by "one dude", for something so atrociously blocky and low-res, I'm surprised it took him four goddamn years. It has the appeal of a real bad Minecraft skin pack, and as it turns out, it's the same style he used for his other middling games. You'd think he'd try to improve or maybe be creative, at least a little.

The only redeeming factor of this game is its gameplay, and that's only just barely. It was novel entering commands, but as someone who grew up with (and hated) DOS, it got frustrating quickly. Fuck that weevil shit, I'd rather shove its penis shape up my own ass.

.. Anyways, just my opinion! Love the poscast. <3

Oh yeah and also regarding NMS: I haven't played it, I think it's cool.. But a lot of the media leading up to it was misleading, notably on the Late Show with Colbert.

For those misled into thinking this was a game-ass game, or even for those who just like it to explore, do you think it's worth the AAA price tag?

The discussion on Telltale Batman has made me interested in trying it out.

I've always enjoyed Batman games, movies, comics, etc. But the Telltale formula has become stale to me. Couldn't really get in to Game of Thrones, made it through season 1 of Walking Dead and stopped. Have Borderlands, yet haven't played it yet.

Is it worth giving Telltale another shot with Batman?

When it comes to horror movies I have the opposite opinion to Brad. I find horror with no supernatural elements creepier because they are grounded in reality and could happen.

    City Skyline = Sim City
    Stardew Valley = Harvest Moon
    Parkitect = Rollercoaster Tycoon

Why don't these fans just change the name and art of these games so copyright wont be an issue and then these companies will not be able to send cease and desist.

Don't call it Metroid, change the sprites of the character and enimies and all your problems are solved. Everyone will know what it is. Just like we know Stardew Valley is Harvest Moon.

Change Pokemon Uranium to Monster Tamer or something and replace the pokeballs with nets.

    Two things:

    1. Loving No Mans Sky. As someone who has wanted to be an astronaut since I was a kid, this fulfills the fantasy of travelling space. While the mining/crafting loop can get old, the curiosity to discover new planets and the differences between them hit all the right notes for me.

    2. Shameful note: The only Metroid game Ive ever finished was Metroid 2. I owned it as a child, and as Im sure we all know, your options were limited so you played and finished what you could. As an adult, I know those games (and those like it) arent for me, even when I went back and dipped my toes in Super Metroid. Clearly a well made game, just not my cup of tea.

I just want to thank Brad for passionately directing his hype and excitement towards the Metroid 2 remake (AM2R) including hints as to where to find a download of it. I remember playing the original on Gameboy when I was a kid and not being able to beat it due to crazy hard enemies and the fact that you were playing this game on a crappy B&W LCD screen. I can say that this newly released version is far superior and have been enjoying it thoroughly!

Wanted to let you guys know as a employee of 7-Eleven and us having a Money Gram machine I can confirm that it wasn't because of you being in New Jersey that the lady was mean. I've experienced that exact same situation during peek hours. I've had someone shove the person at the front counter out of the way and cuss at me all because the machine wasn't working. Fun times!
