Podcast 466 - Never Forget Zombo Com (Quadrilateral Cowboy, Metroid Prime Blast Ball, Nintendo NX Rumors, and More!)

Yes Brad, some of us love to hear you guys talk about spoilers. Lazy bum. :P

I own a Wii-U, love it, don't play it as much as my ps4/PC though, but the one thing that is making me interested in the NX is the thought of playing games like Pokemon, Fire Emblem, maybe even more Layton games on the big screen since they never seem to want to make them for the U.

If a Pokemon game can look like Zelda does on the NX, I will most likely bite the bullet and pick one up.

Also, a Mario Maker like game on the go, could be really fun and something to compliment the more traditional consoles.

Newgrounds is pure nostalgia for me. Sooo much time browsing through so much animated porn that, looking back, makes me think "How did I manage to fap to that?"

Also, it looks like the sound mixer needs the Old Yeller treatment. :|

The NX is doing what I always wanted Nintendo to do by uniting their consoles and handhelds. At the very least, assuming the quantity doesn't change especially with their handheld franchises, their game library would be much more impressive than it was on the Wii U.

Of course, there are other concerns such as the quality of said games between being on the dock and on the go, 3rd party releases and more. But please, god, let my digital purchases carry over to this system. I really don't want to rebuy the NES/SNES Mario franchise again...

Great podcast guys! Long time listener, first time commenting on anything. How come no ones mentioned 7 Days To Die on console at all, or did I miss something?

ya know if you guys are only talking about 2 small games in a segment why not turn that segment into a spoilercast? You guys could have added some meat to this podcast and others like it.

I find it funny Brad said Nick's skill trees would be Bourne, Bond, and Bauer because I remember them saying those three were the inspiration behind the archetypes in Alpha Protocol. xD

I've avoided most No Man's Sky footage or casts besides Krispy's recently. The visuals overall look sweet, but I'm wondering if any of you playing on consoles are bothered by the FOV? It seems so incredibly zoomed in it almost makes me uncomfortable to look at it.

Thinking about going back and listening to some of your old podcasts for shits and giggles.
Can you guys think of any that you would consider the best or funniest?
