After a hectic week in Los Angeles, it's great to be back in the Austin recording room to talk about actual games... that are real... and fully playable.     Its a bit strange that Nolan got tons of emails for Mighty Number 9 during 2014 and only a few during 2015. Perhaps the developers just gave up. And I agree with Nick. The new Ghostbusters theme by Fall Out Boy is just awful.

      Yeah, they definitely weren't as transparent as some of the other projects we've backed such as Bloodstained and Yooka Laylee. Possibly a sign of troubled development but who knows.

      Communication does play a crucial factor, especially with crowd funding as your stakeholders play a more significant role. Without communication, doubt starts to take reign.

      The game does have technical faults and problems, but I wonder if the communication channel was more abundant from developers that the negativity surrounding this game would be less severe.

      I like what Brad said that this is probably what happens to any studio within the industry but we get to witness it forefront due to the popularity of crowd funding.

    I didn't think Mighty No. 9 was "Bad" but it just felt like it lacked a soul. I agree with Nolan's point about checkpoints, it would be annoying to navigate through a section just to fall down a pit and have to do the entire sequence again. There are some things that the game won't outright tell you; I had no idea what the blue enemies did until I went to look at the tips in the menu which made things easier. It took me a while to get into the swing of things, but once I finally beat my first boss, I got into a groove.

    The gameplay of Beyond: Two Souls might not have been as good as Heavy Rain, but I really did enjoy the story and think it is worth a play.

    I comment on twitter about this but I feel here will get more attention. My question last week was in regards mostly to Frank West being recasted, As well as the Outsider from Dishonored. For those who don't care as much Cpt. Cutter from Halo Wars 2 was as well.
