RIP Silent Hills. It's a sad day in the gaming industry as Konami has once again crushed the dreams of it's devoted fanbase and potentially sealed the coffin on it's last major IP. On a more positive note, we talk Helldivers, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate, and Brad even went back and played a bunch Banjo Kazooie.

I'm glad Brad got into Banjo Kazooie, played that a bit as a child. I'll say that Mario 64 was the better platformer while Banjo Kazooie was the better adventure game. I will say that I thought the transformations in Tooie at least were able to do more than just move around and fit into small things. Personally, I prefer Tooie.
Crypt of the Necrodancer sounds really cool, I was debating whether or not to pick it up while it was on sale. Now I'm sad I didn't. :|
Not even gonna touch the Konami thing, they're dead to me. I wasn't even gonna get Silent Hills but they had a good setup here and they were just like, "Nope!" And killed it.
Now this thing about selling Steam mods... I don't normally use mods anyway, but I don't think there's any problem with donating to modders who you think deserve it. The thing I was afraid of, would have been the fact that people would see it and say, "You can make money off of this? Great!" And they would have flooded the market with a bunch of overpriced half-assed mods. We've seen this happen over and over again, with Let's Plays on YouTube, streamers on Twitch, and even games on Steam's Greenlight. And flooding the market just decreases the overall quality of the entire market. You know what would be fine? If Steam had quality control, it'd be fine, but they've already demonstrated with Greenlight that they don't have that.
An enjoyable podcast episode, hopefully Nick is enjoying himself at Disney Land. Does this mean Brad will be the host next episode?! O.o
