og:image, Welcome to the NEW 4Player Network!

Hello everyone and welcome to the NEW 4PlayerNetwork.com! This has been in the works for a long time but it hasn’t been until recently that we were able to move forward on the project. With the help of our new back-end developer, we were finally able to pull the trigger on things that, until now, we could only dream of.

When we started this project, we decided we wanted to transform our website from a simple blog into something that was a more appropriate fit for the content that we produce on a consistent basis. We wanted to make it easier to encourage discussion and comradery amongst the community. The solution is what you see before you and as the the weeks go by, we will be continuing to modify and update what you see until it is as close to perfect as we can get it.

So here is what you need to know on Day 1:

  • IMPORTANT: We are working on a feature that will tie your existing 4Player account to your new forum account to eliminate the need to log into each site separately. In order for this to work, you MUST setup your forum account using the EXACT same username and password as your 4Player account.
  • We have a forum thread where you can ask questions and leave feedback regarding the features on this new version of the website. We will do our best to respond to all inquiries and will be using this to help us plan new features and fix bugs post launch. To access this thread, CLICK HERE.
  • These new forums are a major point of contact between the staff and the community. Popular forum threads are automatically added to the front page of the website for easy access and we will be hand picking certain threads and pimping them with a custom banner on a weekly basis. We will also be using the forums to plan community events, organize giveaways, etc. Long story short, your first stop should be the forums to create an account.
  • This new website is responsive. This means that on smaller devices, content will shift and even change to better suit the screen that you are using. As a result, the site may look simplified on phones and tablets.

That’s really all you need to know right now. Everything else should be pretty self-explanatory and we will be keeping everyone updated on the updates and bug fixes using the following forum thread. Major updates will also be posted right here on the front page! So go forth and explore! Maybe bookmark us or save us as your homepage! Traffic is still insanely important when it comes to attendance to E3 every year and every little bit helps!

We hope you enjoy it and we look forward to everything that’s coming in 2015!
