It may have been delayed until 2015, but Tom Clancy's The Division is still riding that hype train. Being developed by Ubisoft Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm, The Division is set in a post-apocalyptic world after a disease brought modern society to its knees. The players are members of a group known as the Strategic Homeland Division who are under orders from the U.S. President to restore order by any means necessary.

The Division is a multiplayer focused title setting out to blend tactical shooters with MMORPGs. This newest trailer is, admittedly, awkward to watch due to the forced and scripted dialogue the demonstrators are presenting. This trailer does show off more of the HuD elements such as the real time map of the surrounding area and ammo/health as a display floating next to the player.

It's interesting to note that, so far, every gameplay trailer for The Division has been co-op focused which could imply that flying solo simply won't be an option. There are also still several questions left unanswered such as the possibility of PvP or what kinds of objectives the players will be given. Hopefully, Ubisoft can provide these details before launch day arrives. The Division is set to release sometime in 2015.

Looks cool. I doubt co-op against AI will be as intense as the fake voice-chat makes it sound though,

Seems like fun, but it's hard to tell since the game's animations look rather unrealistically presented, especially when given the comparison to the recent Watch_Dogs debacle.

This seems like it was supposed to be co-op with other players, especially with "Chris" using the drone from a tablet. My doubts come from the fact that their demo was SOO scripted and played so smooth. As of right now I don't think the final release of the game will play that smoothly. I wont be able to tell until I get my hands on a final build. But dat pop up map though.

Definitely something I'll be keeping an eye on. As it's been mentioned, the demo looked very scripted so it'll be interesting to see how the game delivers outside of a live demonstration.
