Burnzie79, our Subscriber of the Month in June, joins Brad and Carlos to discuss his game of choice, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. This game is often touted as one of the big standout titles on the Nintendo Gamecube and will likely be remembered as Silicon Knight's biggest accomplishment. Let's take a trip down memory lane!

Every month, we will choose a new subscriber of the month and allow them to choose which game we play for this podcast! Subscribing is easy and helps us to continue doing what we do!

Always happy to see when a SotM makes it for the cast. I was really excited when I heard this game get picked for the SotM back in June. I still kick myself on occasion for not picking up a copy at a local game store years ago, and I've never seen it at another one since then. Consequently, I've never played through it myself, but I've watched through two complete playthroughs on youtube.

So many unique things going on, and nobody has made a game like it since. That's exactly the kind of thing that makes for a great SotM pick. It's just a pity that Brad didn't finish it. The story is definitely worth it. The chapters with Anthony, Maximillian, Paul Luther, and the Architect in particular hit really hard. That cutscene with Maximillian in the asylum is still one of my favorite gaming moments ever, and I've only experienced it second-hand.
