On Spike TV's pre-show coverage of the Microsoft press conference, a Rare executive came on to display their new Xbox One-exclusive title, Kinect Sports Rivals. The sequel to the currently-existing Kinect Sports, this is a game that does basically everything you would expect a Kinect sports-based game to do, but with an expanded repertoire of activities that in total equate to, rock climbing, soccer, jetski racing, bowling, tennis and target shooting. Players will be able to use the Kinect to scan themselves into the game.

This led to two very interesting details: First, this should mark one of the 15 Xbox One-exclusive games to be shown at this E3. Yes, let's hope the other 14 are more interesting.

Second, at the end of the interview, the Rare employee declared that the game would be released in November.

So there you have it, everybody. I think we were all expecting the consoles to release around then, so this isn't the biggest shocker, but it's an awfully funny way to get a confirmation.
